We live in Tacloban City, Philippines.
Tacloban City is in the island of Leyte, which is in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines. It is situated about
360 miles southeast of Manila. It is accessible by plane, boat, or bus.
Tacloban City is the capital
of Leyte province. The local dialect is Waray-waray but there are many who speak Tagalog and Cebuano. Many
people are well-versed in the English language so conversing with foreigners is not a problem.
There are many interesting
places to see in Tacloban. A visit there is never complete without going over the beautiful San
Juanico Bridge which connects the islands of Leyte and Samar.
